Responsible play on LeagueX — pause, self-exclusion, helpline.
LeagueX treats responsible play as a feature, not a checkbox. The app supports 24-hour, 7-day and permanent self-exclusion in one tap, and the national helpline (14446) is linked from every contest card and from this page.

Monthly desk report on self-exclusion uptake.
The desk publishes a monthly transparency report covering self-exclusion uptake (24h, 7-day, permanent), median support response window and contest-dispute resolution rate. The Q3 2026 report is published on the desk's news wire.
The report includes an aggregate view only. Individual accounts are never identified in the transparency report.
You are not alone.
If gaming stops being entertainment — for you or for someone you know — pause is one tap in the app. The helpline is 14446. The desk publishes this page from the editorial section because it is the most important content on the site. Take care of yourself.
Responsible play questions readers ask.
Can I shorten a pause I just set?
24-hour pause: cannot be shortened. 7-day pause: cannot be shortened. Permanent self-exclusion: cannot be reversed for 6 months.
Does the desk contact me during a pause?
The desk sends one pause-confirmation email at the start of the pause and one pause-end notification. No promotional contact during the pause.
What if my family member is showing signs of gaming harm?
Contact the helpline (14446) for confidential support. The desk can also freeze a family-member's account on written request — see customer care.
Notes from the editorial desk.
Why self-exclusion is one tap
The desk treats self-exclusion as a feature, not a checkbox. The 24-hour pause is designed for a single cool-off after a loss. The 7-day pause is designed for a pattern reset. The permanent self-exclusion is designed for harm prevention. All three are reachable in one tap — no support call, no waiting period, no friction.
How the desk measures self-exclusion uptake
The desk publishes a monthly transparency report covering self-exclusion uptake by window (24-hour, 7-day, permanent), median support response window, and contest-dispute resolution rate. The Q3 2026 report is published on the desk's news wire. The report includes aggregate views only; individual accounts are never identified.
State-specific support contacts
The desk publishes state-specific support contacts for six high-population states (Delhi, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal) plus the national helpline (14446). The desk updates the list quarterly. If your state is not on the list, the national helpline is reachable from any state.
Recognising gaming harm in someone else
The desk publishes a brief guide on recognising gaming harm in family members. The guide covers behavioural signals (spending more time on contests, hiding contest activity, chasing losses), financial signals (borrowing for contests, missing bill payments), and emotional signals (anxiety about contest outcomes, irritability when contests are paused).
How self-exclusion interacts with bonuses
Self-excluded accounts do not receive bonus credits. Existing bonus balance expires with the self-exclusion. Active contest entries are settled normally before the self-exclusion takes effect. The desk does not credit bonuses to self-excluded accounts even if a bonus code is entered during the self-exclusion window.
Family-initiated self-exclusion
Family members can request a freeze on a relative's account. The request must include the requester's name, relationship to the account holder, and supporting evidence. The desk investigates within 7 days. Family-initiated self-exclusion is rare and treated with care.
Returning after self-exclusion
After a 7-day pause, the account returns to active automatically. After a permanent self-exclusion, the account is frozen for 6 months minimum; after 6 months, the account holder can request re-activation via customer care. The desk recommends using the full 6-month window before requesting re-activation.
